Welcome to Mis Raíces. This site is dedicated to my family history, in particular the history of the Arocha, Asteínza, Polanco, and Trelles families (my four grandparents).

I have designed and begun to implement this site many times, however, I always became distracted. When I decided to continue working on it again, I would come up with a different look and feel, or a new database design, or whatever. Either way I would end up trashing all the work I had previously completed and began work on the new idea. Which of course was never completed and never launched. I decided to end this vicious cycle and actually stick with one design (which of course I already have a new of doing things ;-) ). This current version contains a very small set of functionality that I envision, but it is at a good point to make it public. So here it is.
